Reflection of Life

On Thursday, December 8, 2016, Mary (Clara) Catherine Wills, surrounded by her loving family, departed this life at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C., for life eternal to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Affectionately known to many as Teador, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend was born in Bel Alton, Maryland, on December 10, 1942. She was a restaurant cook and shortly after became a homemaker. She started her Christian walk at a young age, becoming a member of Woodland Village Baptist Church, in Indian Head, Maryland, under the leadership of the late Reverend Yancey Warren. She later joined The Holy Sanctuary Church, Waldorf, Maryland, where her nephew, Bishop Timothy J. Warren is the founding Pastor. She was a charter member and was faithful in her church attendance until she was no longer able because of her failing health condition.

Teador enjoyed watching WWF wrestling matches and television programs, with her favorite being Judge Joe Brown. She also enjoyed listening to “oldies but goldies” and gospel music. Some of her favorite song being “Yes” and “Jesus” by Shekinah Glory Ministries. She was known by her family to spend a considerable amount of time cooking everyone’s favorite meals, like liver and gravy, fried chicken, potato salad and greens. One of her favorite hobbies was work search puzzles.

    To The Wills Family,
We were sad at heart to hear of your lost.

We never meant Mary personally, face to face, however we did have the pleasure of meeting her daughter Nancy Wills-Ford. The saying is like daughter like mother. We felt like knowing Nacy was to have know Mary.

She had to have been a “Special” person because her daughter Nancy was a reflection of her mother’s goodness. Nancy we would have been there for you if we had known of your mother’s passing.

When we received the sad news about your mom and ask a friend to find out about the arrangements it was after the funeral.

Please know that our prayers are with you and the family and we will be in touch soon. We all can look forward to the day when God’s will is fulfilled on earth. When Revelation 21:3,4 will be our reality. When John 5:28,29 will be fulfilled and we are reunited with our dear loved ones. We will see the fulfillment when death will be brought to nothing. (1 Corinthians 15:26)

Sorrowfully submitted Love, Grace & Hosea Stripling Jr.
